Arpad Baby, Lottie Martin & Ferenc Bucsi
Worcester Crocodiles U18’s Coach Lottie Martin has just returned from her second overseas trip assisting at SPR Travel’s International Waterpolo Camp.
Taking place in Pretty Bay, Birzebbugia, Malta Lottie has had the chance to watch and assist Head Coach Arpad Baby and goal keeper Ferenc Bucsi, both from Hungary originally, put the attendees through their paces.
Arpad has played and won trophies with Hungarian and Spanish national teams. He has coached New Zealand’s Canterbury Waterpolo Club and New Zealand’s U18’s National team.
Assisting at a camp with such a recognised player and coach is a brilliant opportunity for Crocs young coach, Lottie, who will be bringing lots of fresh ideas back to our Thursday night training sessions.
Malta embraces waterpolo, with it being a popular sport to play and watch. Many international events have been held in the country in August 2025 it sees U18 Women’s European Championships taking place.
